	ratio-TAMSULOSIN Interchangeable with Flomax® CR 0.4 mg Over the past several years ratiopharm successfully undertook the challenge of proving the interchangeability of ratio-TAMSULOSIN (0.4 mg sustained-release capsules) with Flomax® CR 0.4 mg tablets. The results from the bioequivalence studies allowed the Ontario Ministry of Health to declare the two products fully interchangeable in September 2009. ratiopharm is the only generic manufacturer to have successfully demonstrated the bioequivalence of its generic formulation of tamsulosin with the brand, Flomax® CR. Please use this information when offering your patients the option of switching to ratio-TAMSULOSIN as it provides substantial cost savings to them and to the Canadian health care system.
